Topo Foundation: Mental Health Education Forum
The Topo Foundation for Education (TF4E) is hosting a high-profile public forum on mental health education. TF4E is a community-based charity founded by rugby union star, Enrique “Topo” Rodriguez, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2007.
Speakers include:

- Former NSW Opposition Leader John Brogden
- Associate Professor Neil Cole from Monash Medical School and award-winning playwright who wrote TOPO, a Play
- Professor Peter Lovibond, Senior Associate Dean of the Faculty of Science at UNSW (Chair)

Australian Human Rights Centre (AHRC) Annual Lecture - Religious challenges to human rights
Leading human rights advocate and litigator, Professor Frances Raday, explores the pressing foreign policy question: ‘Can secularism contribute to peace-making in the Middle East?’
Professor Raday holds the Lieberman Chair in Labour Law at Hebrew University and is Director of the Concord Research Institute for Integration of International Law in Israel. From 2000-2003, she was an Expert Member of the UN Committee for the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women.

COFA TALKS: Political cartoons and graphic novels - Nicolas Vadot
Nicolas Vadot is the editorial cartoonist for two major Belgian newspapers: Le Vif/L’Express, a weekly newsmagazine where he started out in 1993, and L’Echo, a finance daily. He is also the author of several graphic novels in the French-speaking world. In 2007 Vadot published a compilation of his cartoons on the Bush presidency, The George W. Bush Years.
