The head of St Vincent’s Clinical School, Professor Allan Spigelman, has been appointed by the Minister for Health to work on four professional bodies.

He has been re-appointed to the NSW Medical Board, where he represents all universities in NSW in relation to a range of issues including the health and registration of medical practitioners and students and standards of medical practice.

He’s also been appointed to three NSW Health positions: the Collaborating Hospitals Audit of Surgical Mortality Committee (CHASM), the Special Committee Investigating Deaths Associated with Surgery and the Quality Measure Reference Group.
