Universitas 21 Fellowships information session UNSW is delighted to be able to again offer the opportunity for our staff to apply for a Universitas 21 Fellowship. These fellowships of $10,000 each provide the opportunity for general or academic staff to travel to other Universitas 21 universities, either in Australia or overseas, for a period of up to two months. The purpose of the trip is to implement a project plan that the staff member has designed, which will see potential benefits to their unit or school, or UNSW as a whole. This is a fabulous opportunity to meet and work with our colleagues at universities abroad and, at the same time, develop insights into comparative work practices. To help staff understand how the fellowships work, and how applications are made, we are inviting staff to join us for a light lunch and Information Session on Tuesday 6 June from 11.45am till 1.15pm in the OSDS Training Room - Room 416 - Mathews Building. The session will be run by OSDS, with Anne Roberston (International Alliances Officer and past fellowship recipient) as the key presenter. Part of Anne's current role is to oversee the application process, and as a result, she is in an excellent position to provide practical advice and guidance on the process. You will also be able to hear from another past recipient, who will share their insights into the process. Please email Maree Magafas in OSDS to register your place at this session, osds@unsw.edu.au For more details, go to : http://www.unsw.edu.au/international/int/intfellowprog.html#theuniversitas21fellowships or http://www.universitas21.com/ |
