- Exhibition – Place made: Australian Print Workshop 1981 - 2002 celebrates 100 works by 57 artists produced at the Australian Print Workshop from 1981-2002. It is a snapshot of the involvement of Australian artists in the production of prints and their concerns stylistically, technically and politically. Gallery hours, Monday – Saturday, 10am-5pm. - Cinema and science evening - Medical Research’s Fantastic Voyage: Science and Cinema. After a screening of the 1966 film ‘Fantastic Voyage’, scientists from UNSW will discuss how far science fiction has become science fact. - Free mathemagics show – The Magic of Maths is presented by visiting UNSW researcher and devoted 'mathemagician' Dr Arthur Benjamin. Dr Benjamin demonstrates and explains his secrets for performing rapid mental calculations faster than a calculator. 4.30-5.30pm, Keith Burrows Theatre. - Theatre – Minefields and Miniskirts comes to the Parade Theatre (NIDA) following sell-out seasons interstate.
