UNSW Book Fair - something for everyone

The annual UNSW Book Fair is on again and this year there is a huge range of second hand and out of circulation books, magazines, vinyl and videos to choose from.

“This is one of Australia’s largest book fairs," said Maie Barrow, publicist for the Book Fair. “This year we have a large number of children’s books, large print books and quality magazines. There is even a 1928 Sands Directory, a great source of information for those interested in Sydney’s history.”

More than 100,000 items will be on sale with prices averaging between $4 and $30. For the more rare and unusual books there will be an auction. View the auction catalogue here: http://www.bookfair.unsw.edu.au/catalog.html

The UNSW Book Fair first started in 1968 and is run by the U Committee, a group of volunteers that raise funds to support a wide range of UNSW programs. Since the U Committee’s inception in 1963, the group has raised over $2,000,000 for various University activities.

The Book Fair will take place in the Roundhouse from Thursday 28 April to Sunday 1 May. Opening hours: Thursday to Saturday 10am – 7pm and Sunday 10am to 2pm.
